Tree Removal in Augusta

Your Wood Still Has Value

Before you pay to haul it off, find out what your wood is worth. If you're removing a tree, we can help you turn it into something useful: live-edge slabs (our specialty), lumber, or even finished furniture. Have one good log? We offer affordable custom cutting. Got a whole load? We’ll mill some slabs in trade for the rest.

Don’t need the wood? Save on disposal costs. We offer free pickup if there’s usable material in the mix. We take the whole load — the good and the rough — and leave your site clean. That’s part of the deal.

What counts as usable?
Most solid, non-rotten logs. We like oversized, twisted, or forked pieces — the kind most mills turn down. If it looks solid, it’s probably workable. Yes, any species.

Text us a photo or tell us what you’ve got. We’ll work with you to get the most value out of your trees — whether you want to keep the wood or just see it put to good use.

We’re Not a Tree Service

We’re What Comes After

We don’t take trees down — we’re not a licensed arborist — but we do know some good ones. Our work starts with logs on the ground. Goode Sawmill works with homeowners to turn those logs into something useful: wide slabs, lumber, or finished furniture.

If a tree’s coming down, let your crew know you’re saving the logs for milling. Ask for logs 8 feet or longer when it doesn’t add difficulty or cost to the job. Longer logs give us more options — and we’re happy to cut them to length when we pick them up or when they arrive. No problem either way.
